Gisenia Reyes is a graduate from the University of Miami with a certificate in paralegal studies. She is currently attending Florida International University seeking a bachelor's degree in English and aspires to continue onto law school.
Gisenia believes each day is an opportunity to share the love of Christ and help others find sunshine in the midst of their storm. In October 2015, she was diagnosed with an aggressive type of blood cancer called Acute Myeloid Leukemia. After successfully undergoing a stem cell transplant, she started visiting other cancer patients with her homemade chemo kits to help brighten their day. What started off as an act of kindness has quickly spurred others to join in the We Care movement.
She enjoys writing, singing, public speaking, bringing women together for a greater cause and learning and teaching God's Word. Gisenia aspires to lead a global women’s ministry and become a published New York Times bestselling author. Her life motto is: “If you change the way you see things, the things you see will change.” – Wayne Dyer
